2. Description of Services
Healthcare Staff Solutions connects healthcare practices (dental and medical offices) with Medical and Dental Assistant externs from partner schools. Our services facilitate externship placements for partner practices. Externs are enrolled students completing a school-supervised externship; they are not employees placed by Healthcare Staff Solutions.
3. Partner Obligations
As a partner, you agree to:
- Provide a safe and professional environment for externs
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations regarding workplace safety
- Provide accurate information about your practice and extern requirements
- Supervise externs appropriately during their placement
- Determine, with your own advisers, which tasks you may delegate to an extern under your state's scope-of-practice rules, and supervise accordingly
- Determine, with your own advisers, whether an unpaid academic placement is permissible for your practice under the Fair Labor Standards Act and applicable state wage-and-hour law
- Not use externs as a replacement for paid employees
4. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is the property of Healthcare Staff Solutions or its content suppliers and is protected by United States and international copyright laws.
5. Limitation of Liability
Healthcare Staff Solutions shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you, if any, for accessing our services.
